As we inch closer to a deal, wages remain a sticking point. We have agreements on many very good improvements for every group in the Orange Contract, but the Company still needs to reach into their pockets to secure fair raises. AT&T has been making record profits, paying executives millions of dollars, and paying dividends to their shareholders. It is time they also take care of their employees. We need all of you to continue and ramp up mobilization for just a little while longer.

Your Union Bargaining Committee

As we are continuing to progress towards an agreement that meets the needs of CWA members, CWA and DirecTV have agreed to extend the current contract until May 14th, 2022. The Union will continue to push DirecTV to address the outstanding issues that remain.

Since our last report we have reached tentative agreements on a number of provisions with the Company, mainly around non-economic issues and work rules. We are still researching the health care data in order to formulate a complete response to the Company’s proposal.

As stated in the last few bargaining reports, we continue to make good progress at the bargaining table. It is very clear to the Bargaining Team that this progress is a direct result of the mobilization going on out in the field. In order to get us to a fair and equitable contract, we need every member covered by the Orange Contract to step up mobilization! You are doing a great job, KEEP FIGHTING!
