CWA District 4/DirecTV Midwest Bargaining Report #3
As we are continuing to progress towards an agreement that meets the needs of CWA members, CWA and DirecTV have agreed to extend the current contract until April 30th, 2022. The Union and the Company plan to continue to work in good faith during the extension to reach a fair agreement.
Since our last report we have reached tentative agreements on a number of provisions with the Company, including Grievance Procedure, Definitions, Union Officers and Representatives, Committees, and New Member Orientation. We are still reviewing the health care data in order to formulate a complete response to the Company’s proposal.
Issues still being discussed and considered from both sides are; wages, scheduling differential and lead pay, and a number of other important economic and non-economic issues.
This committee is continuing to fight for a fair agreement that addresses the issues that were identified in the member surveys that would provide CWA members the wages, working conditions and benefits we deserve.
