Chianti Idley Music and Art Foundation

A little over a year ago, one of our members here at CWA Local 4302 lost his middle child to suicide. Chianti (affectionately known as Kiki) was a kind and gentle spirit with a willingness to help anywhere she could. The family decided it didn’t seem right to let her angelic spirit fade away, so they created a foundation in her name not to focus on the way she died but to celebrate the way she lived.  Kiki was especially fond of the arts and would often be found singing and drawing in her free time.

The mission of the foundation is to provide financial assistance to deserving individuals in need of music or art lessons as well as awarding scholarships to students majoring in the arts.  They also accept new or used instruments and art related supplies with the hopes of restoring and passing those gifts along to others to expand their creativity.
