Detroit Rally Puts AT$T on Notice!

On Saturday May 19th, CWA members from around District 4 along with Union Leaders, Legislators, and Future Representatives stood together in downtown Detroit to tell AT$T in one loud voice that we mean business.  We met in front of a stage to hear from President Chris Shelton in the shadow of a once thriving AT$T call center that has been abandoned due to layoffs, outsourcing, and offshoring of good jobs that are the backbone of middle class workers.  It was a powerful message sent by a passionate group of people.  To those of you who attended with me, I thank you for taking the time out of your busy lives to show AT$T that there are plenty of us who care.
