CWA/AT&T Midwest Bargaining Report #19
March 27, 2018
Fighting Today…Focused on the Future!
The committees met this morning in full session and the company passed two proposals, both letters, regarding the Company Wellness Program and CVS Retail Prescription Option. The Union committee then caucused in our subcommittees to work on benefits, work rules, Appendix G, and marketing.
This afternoon the Consumer/Marketing subcommittee met with the company where we examined data, expressed concerns, and proposed ideas that would stabilize and grow our call center work in the Midwest. The company remained uncommitted, but agreed to review our ideas.
While we continue to fight at the table…Local Officers met today at an undisclosed location in Indiana to discuss future mobilization tactics and how we can help convince the company to do the right thing.
On another note…the committee would like to thank all the Michigan Locals, Local 4302, Local 4217, and Local 4340 for the gift baskets that have arrived in the past few days. The heartfelt letters from members of Local 4320 were also greatly appreciated. These personal messages will help us in making our point to AT&T.
We are people, not numbers.
