CWA District 4/DirecTV Midwest Bargaining Report #1

Last week your CWA bargaining committee met with the company’s committee in formal session. The Union presented multiple information requests to help us assess the company’s positions and that allow us to formulate proposals.  Discussion centered on how to incorporate the applicable sections, MOAs, letters and articles of the contract that was assumed by DirecTV into a format that is understandable and can be applied consistently across work groups and titles.

We expect to receive and present multiple proposals over the next few days and will provide another update soon.

The bargaining team is continuing to go over data and formulating responses to company proposals this afternoon and evening.
