Due to the forecasted winter weather, the regularly scheduled membership meeting for Saturday, February 5, 2022 has been cancelled and rescheduled for Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 7:30 am.

Convicted felon and former Local 4501 Treasurer Christal Harris filed a motion asking the court for Judicial Release.

Voulnteers are always needed to support these programs.

The Christman Cares Union Shares Program is a Central Ohio Labor Union and St. Stephen's Community House sponsored event to help families that desparetely need help for the holiday season. But the good work can not be done without the support of YOU!! Voulnteers are needed to help in the coordinating, sorting, filling and distribution of requests. The following days and times are when your support is needed most.

December 13-17, 2021

The Joe Berine Scholarship programm offers sixteen partial college scholarships of $4,000 each for the 2022-2023 school year. Winners, selected in a lottery drawing, also will receive second-year scholarships of the same amount contingent upon satisfactory academic accomplishment. Part-time students, less than 12 credits, will receive half of the scholarship monies.

Eligible for the awards are CWA members and their spouses, children and grandchildren, including those of retired or deceased members.

Former CWA Local 4501 Treasurer Ms. Christal Harris has plead guilty to Theft in Office under section 2921.41 of the Ohio Revised Code, a felony of the 3rd degree. She was sentenced to 18 months in prison and ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $200,000 to the Local. Additionally, OPERS (Ohio Public Empoyees Retirement System) will be ordered by the court to turn over the entirety of her retirement fund to be put toward the restitution order.
