Opportunities to Serve

There are numerous committees with open positions at Local 4501. 

The following committees have open positions:

• Legislative-Political Committee
  • Responsible for informing the membership of political and/or legislative issues of importance or interest to working people.
• Training/Education Committee
  • Responsible for presenting educational programs to the membership.
• Community Outreach and Engagement Committee
  • Responsible for developing community service programs.
• Women's Committee
  • A new committee that will establish a mission statement once members are selected and work begins.
• Equity Committee
  • Responsible for developing and promoting the CWA Civil Rights Program.
• Election Committee
  • Responsible for the conduction of all Local 4501 elections in a fair, open, honest and transparent fashion.
• Finance Committee
  • Responsible for reviewing all aspects of the Local’s financial records, vouchers, audits, and budgets.
• Membership Committee
  • Responsible for establishing membership recruitment programs and organizing efforts or the Local.
• Communications Committee
  • Responsible for developing flyers, maintain the Local’s social media presence and website.
