Changes to CWA Local 4501 Leadership

Former President Kevin Kee retired on December 31, 2022. We thank Mr. Kee for his many years of service to members of Local 4501, CWA District 4, and the CWA National Organization. We are able to move forward due to his tireless efforts to lay significant groundwork to make this Local the best in all of CWA. 

Pursuant to the Local 4501 bylaws, Executive Vice President Merical Long ascended to the role of President, taking office as the first woman President for the Local on January 01, 2023. Her many years of experience, compassion and drive make her a formidable force as the head of our Local.

In her capacity as President, she filled the vacancy in the Executive Vice President's role with Yasir Lalla. Lalla brings many years of experience as a steward and Lead Chief Steward.

We thank Kevin for his leadership and wish Merical and Lalla all the best in their new roles.
