CWA/SMHA Bargaining Update

To All SMHA Bargaining Unit Members:

The CWA Bargaining Team, consisting of Chief Steward Bill Yoho, Steward Bruce Kridler, Vice President Sheila Ballway and President Joe Snyder, have been in multiple negotiation meetings with the team from SMHA.  We have tentative agreements (TA) on all contractual language except for wages with significant improvements on many items we discussed at our bargaining survey meeting. Negotiations have been generally positive but discussions around wages have broken down with SMHA standing fast on their last proposal. Our Bargaining Team has agreed that it does not meet our needs and has rejected it.  This is where we will post further updates so please check back often and we will be sure to let you know how you can show support for your CWA Bargaining Team!
