CWA D4 CARES PROGRAM
As you probably know, April is National Volunteers Month.
Many Locals in District 4 sponsor/participate in volunteer projects within their communities. The goal of the CWA CARES Program would be to support a Local’s efforts by enhancing turn-out, utilizing media platforms, and encouraging more community engagement.
Sharing information and photos of CWA families in action volunteering in their communities is an excellent way to remind the public of the values members of CWA, and all union families, share.
As we work on more details of this initiative, we encourage all Locals to share information about their projects and/or look for opportunities that CWA members can participate in within our communities and share them with us. There is never a shortage of opportunities to support our neighbors and help those in need . . . let’s work to do our part!
Send photos of your Local’s volunteer work in the community, or information about a future event you are planning or participating in, to: chess@cwa-union.org #CWAStrong
