CWA-DirecTV Effects Bargaining Report #3

Effects bargaining between CWA and AT&T continued this week, via virtual conference, regarding the effects of the sale of DirecTV.
Your CWA bargaining team continues to discuss important items that could affect CWA members that transitioned to the new DirecTV. Some issues we have been discussing are benefits, job requisitions, cross unit representation etc.
Discussions this week entailed ensuring we understand the intent and meaning of all of the company’s responses to our proposals and questions. CWA continues to await responses from the company regarding additional issues and concerns that we have raised.
We will provide updates accordingly as additional information becomes available. At the conclusion of effects bargaining we will engage in bargaining with the new DIRECTV.
