CWA Local 4818 Smithville Telephone Workers vote to ratify the contract
CWA Local 4818 Smithville Telephone Workers vote to ratify the contract at Smithville Telephone. CWA-Smithville Bargaining Team presented the Last-Best-Final offer to the Smithville Telephone Workers on Thursday evening; after an explanation meeting, the members voted to accept the agreement by 73%. The goal of the bargaining committee is to ensure that the livelihood of our members will be better at the end of the three-year agreement. As a committee, we believe this contract does just that.
