Smithville Bargaining Update #1
Smithville Bargaining opened this week, and your bargaining team heard your concerns in the meetings over the last several months and has been working hard to address your concerns. As always, our goal is to improve the livelihood of our members.
You and your fellow members have done an outstanding job participating in mobilization, and it has been recognized.
Bargaining will resume on May 2nd, 2023. We will continue working under the current contract and would like you to continue your mobilization efforts. As we discussed in previous meetings, the details of current contract negotiations cannot be addressed and will need to be kept confidential by your peers on the bargaining team.
We will keep everyone updated if there are any changes. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact the Local or your Mobilization Coordinator.
