Support for District 3 AT&T Mobility Bargaining - February 9
February 9 is the expiration of CWA District 3’s contract with AT&T Mobility.
This round of bargaining has been surprisingly tough when you consider that AT&T has had a very profitable year, and the company is set up for a big windfall from the recent tax cuts. But AT&T has taken on CWA in every part of the country – laying off workers while contracting out our work and shifting more health care costs to workers. That is why CWA will be engaging in another round of actions on February 9 – to show our support for District 3 negotiations and to show our opposition to AT&T’s attacks on our jobs.
We are asking CWA members working at AT&T - both Core and Mobility - to wear black buttons or stickers that say “We Demand Good Jobs” in solidarity with our Mobility members under the Black contract.
