WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW about the TA Ratification electronic voting process.
Members will begin receiving their Tentative Agreement Ratification Packets from the vendor Ballotpoint this week.
The packet will be delivered via USPS in an easily identifiable envelope. It will have the District office's return address and clearly states "CWA/AT&T Midwest Ratification" on the front of the envelope's bottom right corner.
Enclosed will be three (3) items:
1. A Letter from Vice President Linda L. Hinton
2. A Tentative Agreement highlight summary
3. The instruction information from Ballotpoint that includes all the information needed to cast your vote electronically with your unique identifier code.
o There will also be two (2) links available for the members to view a more detailed summary with the actual contract language included and the entire Article 16 and Attachment I.
o Members will be able to vote by computer, tablets, or their phone.
DEADLINE to complete the ratification process is March 9th. If a packet is returned to the District office by the USPS due to an incorrect address, district staff will reach out to the appropriate Local to get the member the ratification information as soon as possible.
