The bargaining team met today. The last Mediation session is scheduled for March 30th. 

Currently there is no change in the University’s offers. 

You will be updated on the outcome of the March 30th meeting.

We were unable to hold our previously scheduled meeting with the Mediator today, 1/24/2022.

Both sides are investigating alternatives concerning economic issues.  CWA's bargaining team will be using this time to explore more options and analyze data.

Due to events beyond our control, the mediation session scheduled for Thursday Januray 20th, 2022 has been cancelled.  Our next scheduled session and update will be Monday January 24th, 2022.

Bargaining update for the University of Akron SBU and Trades Bargaining Units

The CWA bargaining team met today with a Federal Mediator and the UA Bargaining team. Serious discussions continued on economics.

No agreement was reached. 

The next meeting will be Thursday January 20, 2022.
