SBU Bargaining Update 9/2/2021

The SBU Bargaining Team met with the University today. Negotiations continued to progress. 

It is anticipated that the remaining sessions will focus on economic issues. 

Our next meeting is Monday September 13th.

A Word on Vaccine Mandates

The Officers of CWA Local 4302 unanimously oppose employer-mandated vaccinations.  We strongly encourage all of our members and the citizens of our communities who are able to get vaccinated against COVID-19 to do so.

University Of Akron Bargaining Update 8-20-2021

The bargaining teams met briefly today to make final edits to articles in the contract. We have reached tentative agreements on most non-economic issues and are preparing to move into economic issues.
