The Heroes Act Protects and Compensates Essential Workers

The HEROES Act (H.R. 6800), $3T relief package, passed the House late last night mostly along partisan lines with a 208-199 vote. 14 Democrats voted against the bill, including Axne, Cunningham, Davids, Finkenauer, Golden, Horn, Jayapal, Lamb, Luria, McAdams, Schrader, Spanberger, Torres Small, and Wild. 1 Republican voted for the bill: King (NY) Several motions to recommit by the Republicans were defeated.
